▶EAC, EDP and TEDP for students and unemployed youths:
RIIELG conducted 25 EAC, EDP for science & technology persons, WEDP, TEDP on web designing,
mobile repairing and food processing with support from DST-Govt. of India. The Institute created
awareness on entrepreneurship, emerging business opportunities and financial assistance under
PMEGP. 6000 unemployed youth including students and women with support KVIC and Govt. of West
Bengal.
▶Profession courses under Schools of Vocational Studies, Netaji Subhas Open University:
RIIELG conducted Diploma in Entrepreneurship Development & Small Business Management, Diploma
in Pre-primary Teachers’ Training. Certificate course in Organic Agriculture & Horticulture and Post
Graduate Diploma in Export-Import Management in collaboration with School of Vocational Studies,
Netaji Subhas Open University. More than 200 students were trained and supported for grounding
enterprises.
▶Impact assessment, evaluation and physical verification of the programmes and schemes:
RIIELG conducted physical verification to 750 enterprises set up under PMEGP, evaluation of 935 units
set up under CGTF for MSMEs and 700 unites registered under EPF with support from Indian Institute of
Foreign Trade-Kolkata, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India and Webcon Consulting India
Pvt. Ltd.
▶Investor Awareness Programme:
35 Investment Awareness Programme were conducted by RIIELG with MSMEs and students with
support from Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd., Calcutta Stock Exchange Ltd. and ASSOCHAM in
associations with industry associations, chambers of commerce and colleges.
▶Vetting of study materials (Facilitator Guidance) prepared under P M Vishwakarma:
Extended support in vetting the study materials on ‘Traditional Soft Toy Maker’, ‘Traditional Glass Toy
Maker’, ‘Traditional Leather Toy Maker’ and ‘Traditional Wooden Toy Maker’ prepared by NIMI, an
autonomous Institute of Directorate General of Training under Ministry of Skill & Entrepreneurship
Development, Govt. of India.
